Welcome to the Sierra Madre Trail Ultra, where the toughest trails meet the biggest party! This isn't just an ultra; it’s a non-stop, high-octane battle against mileage, muscle failure, and the clock itself.
Presented by KUGI Athletics, the 5th edition of Sierra Madre Trail Ultra 75 is also part of the 2026 Asia Trail Master championship series. 🇵🇭
I. RACE DETAILS
a. Route - consist of technical and wide trails, river crossing and bouldering, minimal road section.
b. Elevation gain - approximately 4,200 meters
c. Distance category - 75 KM

d. Cut-off time - 19 hours with one intermediate cut-off time at the aid station.

II. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years old and above;
- Has a qualifying race, trail or road with a minimum distance of 42 KM from January 2025 onwards;
- Submission of medical certificate stating that he/she is medically fit to join this type of running event. The date should be 6 months or less from the race day.

7:00 PM - Marshal and volunteers assembly

VII. HOW TO GET TO THE EVENT VENUE
Maximum travel time is 3 hours depending on traffic situation. Other options may depend on your place of origin.
a. Public transportation - available 24 hours except for MRT 3
1. From airport, book a taxi or grab going to Cubao, Quezon City. You can also take MRT 3 instead.
2. Ride a UV Express beside Farmer's Plaza, Cubao going to Eastwood Luvers, Montalban. (last drop off point with Php 50.00 fare)
3. Then hire a tricycle going to Sitio Wawa. (Php 80.00 good for 4)

XI. GENERAL EVENT GUIDELINES
- Registration fee is NON REFUNDABLE but transferable to a different person. Such transfer needs to be done at least 1 week before the event date. No transfer will be allowed less than a week from the race day.
- All registered participants are REQUIRED to submit a medical certificate, digital or hard copy, stating that he/she is medically fit to join this type of running event. The date should be 6 months or less from the race day.
- Only registered runners can run the course. NO personal pacers allowed.
- Race forerunner and marshals may be deployed along the route to ensure that trail markers are still intact or properly placed. Photographers are positioned strategically to capture your unforgettable moments.
- Mandatory gears shall be checked before the release of the race kits. Runners with incomplete mandatory items will not be allowed to run. Also, your mandatories will be checked again randomly at the aid station and finish line. Incomplete mandatories may lead to disqualification.
- Outside support is allowed only at the last Aid Station (Sinfuego Campsite)
- To avoid too much crowd, runners are advised to pass by each aid station as quickly as possible except in cases when there is really an urgent necessity to stay longer.
- Be at your best behavior and show respect to your fellow runners, race organizers, locals and the entire community.
- Be reminded that all runners are given a total of 19 hours to complete the entire route. The cut off times will be strictly implemented.
- Late participants who will arrive within 10 minutes after the starting time will still be allowed to run but the cut off times will NOT be adjusted. Anyone who will arrive beyond 10 minutes will be tagged as DNS (Did Not Start).
- STRICTLY NO LITTERING from start to finish! Also, bring your own portable cup, spoon and forks that you can use when drinking or eating at the aid stations.
- While the race is in progress, runners who decide NOT TO CONTINUE due to their own reasons shall express their intent or decision in the nearest Aid station. The race marshal assigned to such station will list down the names and BIB #. The runners will therefore be given the DNF (Did Not Finish) status. They can opt to take any available transportation back to the starting/finish line at their own expense.
- Likewise, any runner who will not make it to the intermediate cut-off time and finish line within 19 hours, shall be tagged as DNF. Race entitlements shall only be given to those who will finish the race.
- ALL MUST PLAY WITH INTEGRITY. Anyone caught CHEATING, including the act of sabotaging trail markers for personal advantage shall be subject to disqualification.
RACE DISPUTE / PROTEST:
Anyone who wishes toto file a race protest shall submit a written account of his / her dispute to the race organizers within 24 hours from finishing the race. All proof supporting his / her claim shall be submitted / presented to the race organizers for proper evaluation. A protest fee of PHP. 500.00 (Five Hundred Pesos) shall be collected. NO DISPUTE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THE ABSENCE OF ANY EVIDENCE. THE DECISION OF THE RACE ORGANIZERS IS FINAL AND IRREVOCABLE.
